Booksmart

IN THEATERS MAY 24. Told from a wildly original, fresh and modern perspective, Booksmart is an unfiltered comedy about high school best friends and the bonds we create that last a lifetime. Capturing the spirit of our times, the film is a coming of age story for a new generation.

I went to a free screening of Booksmart last night (thank you Gofobo!) and wow. Just wow. I loved it. I haven’t seen a movie this fun in ages. It reminded me so much of the end-of-highschool movies that I saw when I was younger and loved (Can’t Hardly Wait, Clueless, Dazed & Confused), there’s such a sweetness to it. Had no idea that it’s Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut either, which is cool as hell. Also love the fact that the screenplay is written by all women. The soundtrack is incredible, the story is great, I can’t say enough good things about this movie other than the fact that everyone should definitely see it. Comes out May 24!
