The Bee Gees

by Liz Heather in Music

I really think that if I were alive around the time that these guys were famous, I would've been a huge fan. As it stands, I'm a pretty big fan of mainly their singles, but it definitely could have been a deeper love had I experienced their heyday.

I think the first time I'd ever heard a snippet of one of their songs was when this scene happened:

All rights owned by Fox (I think)

I remember hearing that and thinking, "Whoa. What the hell song is that, I need to get it on my Walkman NOW."

A few years later, I came across Saturday Night Fever and (other than that being just a terrible movie) the amount of Bee Gees songs featured solidified me as a fan. I mean, c'mon - listen to this gem.

A theme song from the 1977 John Badham film "Saturday Night Fever" with John Travolta & Karen Lynn Gorney. I am not making any money off of this channel and all videos/edits are in accordance with copyright/fair use.

Love these guys.
