e.l.f. Face Primer

I swear to God this primer feels as good as the ones available from Smashbox. How is that possible? I have no idea. But it's clear that from now on, I'll only ever be buying the e.l.f. primers. They even have five different types to choose from, which seems insane to actually have choice when the price is so crazy decent.

There's absolutely no reason you need to be spending $30+ on any kind of primer, so please stop it. You're only encouraging these overpriced companies that should be really ashamed of themselves.

e.l.f. Studio Eyebrow Kit

If a) you're not picky and b) it's not raining outside - then this is the eyebrow system for you.

Every time I'm in the vicinity of e.l.f. products, I find it extremely hard not to overindulge and buy everything in sight. Their prices are insane and some of the products actually work better than some I've sampled from Sephora.

I'm sorry you have to look at my creepy one eye shots (I'm purposely not making that an image you can open/zoom - in fear of someone walking in on you looking at such an enlarged eye photo and labelling you a serial killer), but you can see the difference that an eyebrow filler makes.

The worst part? If you touch your face a lot, it smudges like mad. I tend not to touch my face, so I haven't really run in to this problem. But also, why would you touch your face a lot? That's gross, stop that.

I started using this kit as the backup (or sometimes in conjunction with) the Anastasia one I like and there's probably no going back for me now. I will continue to sample new eyebrow pencils and systems until I magically find one that isn't over $20 and is somehow all-weather friendly.

e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow Primer

Did you know that e.l.f. stands for eyes lips face? Do you even care? Well, I did/do so that's why I passed it onto you.

ANYWAY, in a world where you can spend upwards of $40 on a MERE PRIMER - I always applaud the day when someone turns me onto a product that's actually quite useful and not a billion dollars.

If you ever wear eyeshadow, please buy this primer. Not only is it amazing, but it's three dollars. Three dollars and it lasts about six months with casual usage. And I, in no way, fully support all e.l.f. products (my favourites so far are this primer and their lip exfoliator), since their "blushes" are a little cake-y and scream fifth-grade-play to me.

e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator

This is the best thing I've tried at e.l.f. thus far. I can definitely see why so many people are loyal to this little guy. I don't wear lipstick often, but I still use this every morning and night. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen, but little bits of the exfoliator come off the stick and onto your lips in a way that makes it feel like it's really working and doing something. And if you use this exfoliator and then follow with some peppermint extract? You're going to feel indestructible. Please try that combination now.

And if you're into any kind of plumping lip agent/gloss/shine/whatever... you need to stop using that nonsense immediately and bring out the real, natural plump that's already in your lips. I swear to God it's there. Exfoliating them brings out that plump. Look it up.

This seems like a lot of lip maintenance, I know. But I can't tell you what a difference you'll see.

I'm not even going to dwell on the fact that this is only $3. You have no excuse to not get this.
