Bendy Bridge

If you're not impressed by this, get over yourself.

Age 29, continuing to kill it.

And if you think it isn't hard to do (in your late twenties), then I implore you to give it a whirl.

This isn't really a look-what-I-can-do post (well, it IS) but more of a what-can-you-do post? Is there something that you used to be able to do really well and stopped? Maybe you should give it a try again? One day I hope to be able to do the above but have my hands reach/walk all the way down to my feet. I know, I dream big.

In any case, I'll forever keep trying to still be this kid any way I can.

Advice From Grade Eight Liz

by Liz Heather in

In grade eight, my teacher Mr. Morais asked us to write some advice for the people of the future. It was a vague project, but I was so excited to do it that I wrote mine at lunch and handed it in before the end of the day. He liked it, read it aloud to the class and forever gave me the gall to think that my advice to anyone was worthy. Here is that list. (Obviously, this is riddled with clichés and some of it is embarrassing to share, but there are some points that I still strongly believe in.)

14 year olds have all the answers, guys.

Recipes From My Kindergarten Class

by Liz Heather in ,

This was just found in my parent's basement - they're a collection of recipes that myself and other classmates wrote in 1989. (Please note: I still like to speak in brackets.)

Stacey is killing it.

So either I was a full blown liar by age four or my dad really put up with a lot from me and ate this garbage at least once because I made it. Definitely one of those two things. Click through the ones below to see other great ones from the book.
