Pretty self-explanatory title up there. Who would buy this, you ask? I'll assume anyone who grew up playing baseball (or, in my case, grew up around a sibling who played). I never had any real skills when it came to sports (even before my eye issues), so I was limited to pretend-playing in my backyard. I definitely remember the smell of gloves like this, so I'd definitely use this soap once or twice. I doubt that it would dominate my bathing routine since I'm not a maniac - but a one time use every so often to be gently reminded of a simpler time? Sure.
Sabon in NYC
Disclaimer: City-specific post ahead. (There are locations in NYC, Chicago and Miami.)
If you live/visit this city, please stop into a Sabon store and wash your hands. Err, rather - have your hands washed for you. If that sounds terrible… well, that’s weird. It’s actually great. Whenever I pass a location with my friend Paul it’s not even a question as to whether we go in or not. It’s free, and it’s basically a four step (sometimes more, if they’re not busy) hand washing experience. Now, I’ve only ever bought their products as gifts, since I tend to use much cheaper items, but they smell amazing. Maybe one day when I have more money to spend, I’ll exclusively only shop here for this kind of stuff.
Anyway, my main point of this is - your hands feel like heaven afterward. Do it up. When I was single, I would get them washed especially before meeting dates and men thought I was, like, Parisian or something my hands were so f-ing soft.
Bath & Body Works - Foam Soaps
Plus, the foaming aspect makes it just a small delight in an otherwise grotesque room. They have seasonal ones as well, and they’re festive as hell. They usually have deals on how much they cost, depending on how many you purchase. I’ve even found some (same brand and all) cheaper ones at a few dollar stores if you look hard enough.
That’s the “Sea Island Cotton” scent up there. I mostly chose to show that one ‘cause of how ridiculous the name is. Ridiculous and so fun.
