Advice From Grade Eight Liz

by Liz Heather in

In grade eight, my teacher Mr. Morais asked us to write some advice for the people of the future. It was a vague project, but I was so excited to do it that I wrote mine at lunch and handed it in before the end of the day. He liked it, read it aloud to the class and forever gave me the gall to think that my advice to anyone was worthy. Here is that list. (Obviously, this is riddled with clichés and some of it is embarrassing to share, but there are some points that I still strongly believe in.)

14 year olds have all the answers, guys.
