My House
CANNOT STOP PLAYING THIS.
In My Words
I hate celebrity gossip/"news" more than anyone you'll probably ever meet. But you know this. Remember what I do to tabloid magazines? Well, there's a way to do that same type of thing - but on the internet.
It's a Chrome extension (called In My Words) that you can install on your computer that replaces any words or phrases that you're sick of seeing with words or phrases you'd prefer. Once you install it, you can browse the internet and never ever see the words/phrases that annoy you. For example, any overexposed celebrities that I can't seem to escape, I've replaced with just the word "irrelevant." Is that dumb? Maybe. Has it made my internet life much less irritating? Bigtime.
How it works :
- Add the extension to Google Chrome
- Click the Wrench icon, go to “Tools-> Extensions-> In My words”
- Click “Options”
- Enter words and their replacements
- Click Save and start browsing

The Rock Alarm Clock
Dwayne Johnson made a motivational alarm clock app and it's called The Rock Clock. It "doesn't have a wimpy snooze button," but has messages from The Rock himself to help get you out of bed in the morning. You can also sync your alarm to his sleeping schedule if you like waking up at 4am.
Happy Hour Finder App
Happy Hour Finder is an easy way to explore happy hours near your current location, or anywhere else in the United States. You can view all the happy hours on a list or on a map, including all the happy hour details. Such a good idea.

Friend Reminders
I like to tell you how to organize your life, I realize, and I'll probably never stop.
That being said, are you constantly forgetting things? I'm not talking about important things, those are easy to remember. But the lesser-important things like:
- A restaurant you want to try with a specific friend
- An episode of some show that you need to force someone to watch
- An anecdote that only your mom will find funny
- An idea of a birthday gift for your boyfriend
- ETC.
How are you supposed to remember these tiny, somewhat-insignificant thoughts? Why, in list form, of course! I use the Note Pad app on my phone for things like this and it's entitled "Friend Reminders" and in it I list my friends (and some family members) names and I bullet point things underneath each name that I have to remember to do or say to them the next time I see them. Does that seem like too much effort? No. And it shouldn't. Doing this lets my brain relax and focus on other things. And I highly encourage you start one if you've ever had trouble remembering nonsense.
