Canadian Stamps Rising
If you're into correspondence and/or you buy stamps every so often, then you'll want to grab some stamps before Monday (March 31) when their prices increase by an UNGODLY AMOUNT.
If you buy singular stamps, they're rising from 63 cents to ONE DOLLAR. I'm not really sure why rioting hasn't begun because of this. More people need to be upset. I completely understand it, but... we're all just taking this in silence? Outrageous. Go stock up NOW.
(I know that they'll only cost 85 cents each when you buy them in a booklet, but still. These increases are beyond insanity. Shame on you, Canada Post. Shame, shame.)

Amtrak To Offer Free Rides To Writers
Amtrak will soon begin offering "writers’ residencies" to writers, essentially. What does that mean? Basically it'll be free, roundtrip rides aboard Amtrak trains dedicated solely for the purpose of writing.
