My brother Gary's birthday is tomorrow and I hope he realizes how much he is loved and missed (he lives with his family in Scotland). I know I talk a lot about how important siblings are, and I'll continue to do so until absolutely everyone I know is convinced. You're the best, Gary, and I swear I'll try not to make your gift eight months late this year.

Season two of Netflix’s Chef's Table returns on May 27, featuring Alex Atala (Brazil), Ana Ros (Slovenia), Dominique Crenn (San Francisco), Enrique Olvera (Mexico), Gagan Anand (Thailand), and Grant Achatz (Chicago).

These six episodes will premiere next month, with an additional four to follow later in the year dedicated to the world's greatest French chefs: Alain Passard of L’Arpège, Michel Troisgros of Maison Troisgros, Adeline Grattard of Yam’Tcha, and Alexandre Couillon of La Marine.

AHHHH!!

Last Kiss

Definitely one of my top three favourite Taylor Swift songs. DEFINITELY. I know it’s supposed to be a sad song, but the progression of it is so uplifting that I tend to tune out the lyrics.

PsychoBarn at The Met

by Liz Heather in

Every summer, The Met has a different rooftop exhibit - you know this, because I've mentioned it before. Here's what's up there this year...

The project’s full name is “Transitional Object: (PsychoBarn)” and it's done by the artist Cornelia Parker. It is assembled at two-thirds of the scale of a real house and with only two finished sides, just like the film set of the 1960 Hitchcock film “Psycho” that gave Ms. Parker part of her inspiration.

The back of the project — which Ms. Parker doesn’t hide, but rather emphasizes — reveals it as fake, supported by metal scaffolding and tamped down with large black water tanks, providing ballast so it won’t blow over in a strong wind.

It'll stay up there until October 31st. Gotta go see this!
