This is how I feel when I save money.
I know that, lately, I've been pretty into finding new Chrome extensions. Why? I'm not sure, really. Maybe it's a phase that we all go through? In any case, this one I just heard about it is amazing.
It's basically a browser extension that automatically finds and applies coupon codes at checkouts whenever you buy something online. WHENEVER. So you don't have to search for them anymore (you were searching for them, right?)!
Such a great idea.
Givebackbox.com is a free service that helps you reuse and recycle shipping boxes while donating items to charity. All you have to do is print out a pre-paid shipping label, stuff the box with donations (like gently used clothing) and send it out.

Paris-based entrepreneur Guillaume Rolland has invented the “SensorWake,” the world’s first scented alarm clock that will wake you up using smell instead of sound.
You can choose from a wide assortment of scents, like coffee, croissants, the ocean, or even the smell of money. Even Google recognizes its potential, awarding it as one of the top 15 inventions “that can change the world” at the 2014 Google Science Fair." You can fund it on Kickstarter, if you so please.

With my 30th birthday coming up, this was the first birthday card I'd received (and to be honest, the absolute best one). Other than the sweet written sentiments, the main reason I loved it so much was for the list of Simpsons-themed birthday episodes that I was recommended to re-watch. Is it just me or is that the nicest idea to list these episodes out? I hadn't seen a few of these in years and loved the hell out of being reminded to. Greg and Katie, you're the best. I hope you don't mind me scanning that card to post it here. SUCH a great idea and I absolutely loved it.

My favourite part? You can choose what kind of tree! Imagine seeing forests instead of graveyards? Isn't that a crazy better idea? Also, is it just me or is it way more comforting (and the opposite of sad) to visit someone in the woods than in a cemetery? THIS IS THE BEST IDEA EVER.
Ram & Row created this gorgeous piece of living room furniture that morphs into a rowing machine. It was designed by Patrick Saint-Martin and runs for - well, probably a ridiculous amount of money since they don't list a price.

Ugh, this is so smart. I just read about this on Browne Eyed Belle's blog and I absolutely love this idea. Instead of having your (longer) boots flop over onto one another on the floor and ruin their shape, you could instead hang your boots from pants hangers to keep them straight. You can find the pants hangers with sliding clips at Target. Such a great idea.

It holds laptops up to 17", magazines, tablets, e-readers, books, cell phones, remotes, pens, glasses and more - all within arm's reach while you're in bed. While I try not to tolerate cell phone usage in my own bed, this does seem like a great idea to have.
(Sidenote: no couple should allow cell phones NEAR their bed. Let a bed be a bed, unfettered. Shouldn't it be the one place where technology doesn't take over your surroundings?)
