Yes there are three episodes left this season, but the tweets are too good right now. Favourites from season three episode eight below!
The Best of July 2025
That was the fastest month of all time, yeah? Hereâs what happened!
I continued to write my Summer Saturdays series.
The best tweets of the month are over here.
Took my brother and nephews to do an impromptu cake tasting!
Cake tasting
Speaking of cakes, are we all aware of how good the La Rocca ones are? I tried their strawberry white chocolate this month and it was delicious. Their best one remains the caramel crunch one, though. Best grocery store cakes of all time.

My niece Tianna and I stayed at Pillar and Post in Niagara-On-The-Lake and it was absolutely perfect. I tried bone marrow for the first time (I see the appeal) and it was a perfect little getaway. (Also, a gorgeous lavender field is only minutes away.)
Lavender field, Niagara-On-The-Lake
I was craving green curry (but not wanting to pay $30 for it from a restaurant) so I made one at home with onions, peas, chicken and store-bought green curry sauce and it was insanely satisfying. Also, lasted me a full week. I have to remember to do this again.
The house-made garlic and chive cream cheese from The Cheese Boutique is heavenly.
Iâve been living in this Aritzia burgundy sweatshirt.
Beyond excited for this project.
Nathan and I went to Montreal (best thing about a road trip? McDonaldâs $1 any-sized iced coffee + the free DoubleTree warm cookie) and had such a great time. First time trying their bagels and good god - eons better than New York ones. No one told me. Only regret of the trip? Not ordering this onion block from The Cage.

And this should be obvious, but Quebec cheese curds are otherworldly. There is no substitution.
Montreal, July 2025
Officially in love with the Montreal brand Mimi and August (thank you, Marla!).
I will always stop at The Big Apple when we pass it on the highway. Right now they have incredible nectarines and apple cheddar bread. (We also stopped at Primitive Designs because why not?)

Yearning to eat this beef stroganoff with caramelized mushrooms and crispy onions.
Had my bridal shower and it was overwhelmingly nice. I made my favourite lemon sorbet with mascarpone for dessert (I will use any excuse to make these, theyâre so good). And these honey jars are such a perfect party favour (note: you do have to fill them yourself, like some sort of sap).

This is really a reminder to myself to never use booking.com again. Iâm 40, I should know better. Stop using third party websites for booking anything. Theyâre all terrible when it comes to changing plans.
These are officially the hottest, most comfortable heels I now own so I should probably buy two more pairs.
I ate the greatest samosas of all time from the Lakeview Farmers Market at Zesty Fusions. Also had an incredible gluten free breakfast sandwich from Gud Daae and a great iced flat white from Delicious All Day Coffee.
Current snack on repeat: Nutella on Dadâs Cookies. I canât stop.
Some things I watched:
Fatal Attraction: wow, I rewatch this movie a lot. Might need to look into that.
A rerun of the Lady Gaga SNL: fantastic. Love her.
Single White Female: great! Canât believe I hadnât seen it before.
The Bear: I canât stand how much Eyo says âlike.â Other than that, the season was fine? Not enough scenes with Will Poulter.
And Just Like That: live long enough and youâll grow to hate Aiden. Itâs a blessing that this show is coming to an end. Also, Mirandaâs character progression has never made any sense to me.
I Know What You Did Last Summer: I actually liked it! I wonât ruin the ending, but I truly hated that part of it.
Some things Iâm looking forward to this month: OH I WONDER.
You can read last monthâs roundup over here.

June 2025
What happened last month? Oh I donât know, nothing too monumental other than the fact that Nathan and I got engaged. WILD STUFF. Super jacked about it. But also hereâs what else down last monthâŚ
I had no idea that Anthropologie had an entire bridal section where you can book try-on appointments! Obviously I went.
NOT my wedding dress, but good god do I love lace
I started doing weekly Summer Saturdays posts again this year.
I compiled the best tweets of the month.
We took a day trip to see the filming locations of Friday the 13th in New Jersey.
I never wear strapless bras because theyâre all terrible, so for years when I need to wear one Iâll just put on a corset (it sounds uncomfortable, but I swear itâs not). The first one I bought was about ten years ago from this great place (Orchard Corset on the Lower East Side) that only specializes in corsets. You walk in, there are boxes everywhere, itâs owned by a couple - one of them looks at you, tells you the exact right size to get and youâre set. I updated the one I got recently (it lasted ten years) and they cost around $70. They fit like a dream. Praying this place stays in business for eternity. (I also learned the proper way (below) to clasp one, how did it take me so long to learn this??)

The chain Jersey Mikeâs came to Canada so I tried their signature sub (swimming in vinegar) and it was good. I wish it had even more vinegar, though.
My cousin made this piano key holder out of my grandmotherâs piano (from the early 1900s)! Isnât it gorgeous??
Homemade piano key holder
My friend Marla made these incredible pistachio thumbprint cookies and I canât stop thinking about them.
DO NOT sleep on the incredible sushi from Hillstone.
Hillstone sushi with Irene
The new brown sugar foam at Starbucks is a problem, itâs so good.
Nathan and I saw Stranger Things on Broadway and visually it was fantastic! The story wasnât the best and itâs way too long, but the plushies they sold are wonderful.

Still dreaming about this House of CB strapless gown.
In love with the concord grape Schweppes seltzer. Tastes so similar to 90s purple Crush.

Lemax released their Halloween collection this year and I might have to buy the new wedding party, I donât make the rules.
Wedding party from Lemax
Visited the Cheese Boutique in Toronto and I canât believe how huge it is. Itâs this giant cheese/meat/butcher/specialty foods haven.
This raccoon (below) came up to my parentâs window and Iâm in love.
Cutest raccoon alive
My parentâs car had an air conditioning issue so I took it to our mechanic and they quoted us a minimum of $900 (!). Then I took it to Canadian Tire and they did the entire job for $275 and completely fixed the issue. Unbelievable. Love Canadian Tire so much.
I hate a sugar cookie, but the Crumbl wedding cookie was really good.
Wedding cookie from Crumbl
Something about having a Blue Moon on draft at a restaurant makes me so happy.
Draft Blue Moons = summer
Some things I watched:
Sirens (Netflix) - it was like a poor manâs White Lotus. Nice visuals, not much story, though.
Another Simple Favor - truly terrible. Itâs as if AI wrote a movie about dumb hats in Capri.
The Mist - pretty good! Love a horror movie watch in June.
Milli Vanilli documentary - really good, so much I didnât know about these guys.
Titan documentary - I wish it were more about the people on board and the details around the specific disaster rather than the company history, but maybe thatâs just me.
Some things Iâm looking forward to this month: going to Montreal with Nathan, a million things to plan before the wedding, lane swimming and seeing the new I Know What You Did Last Summer in theatres.
WEDDING SLEEVE!

Forever favourite blue

This has been the longest spring of all time and Iâm not complaining. Hereâs what went down last month.
The best tweets of the month can be found over here.
I finally reviewed last yearâs Met costume exhibit (this yearâs 2025 exhibit review can be read over here).
Bought/love this travel box for jewelry. Also got these great swim trunks for Nathan (love non-bland menswear).
A bunch of new candles came out at Trader Joeâs so obviously Iâm on it.
Got this great quilted sweatshirt for $10 on sale at Banana Republic Factory.
Made this sausage, pesto, ricotta pasta on repeat for a few nights. Also made this bread pudding with vanilla sauce for a friendâs birthday that really turned out well.
I visited the new Printemps (french department store) in the city, which is really lovely. The design of the space is worth seeing if youâre in the area. Keep in mind that practically nothing is priced under $100.
Printemps in NYC
We went to Ruta in Astoria, which is probably the best Mexican in the neighborhood by far. Their deep red salsa will fix you.
At Ruta in Astoria, Queens
Here were my favourite Met Gala looks this year:
Kerry Washington at the Met Gala, 2025
Katy Perry at the Met Gala, 2025
Nicole Kidman at the Met Gala, 2025
Cardi B at the Met Gala, 2025
So I tried a retinol night serum on my face and I was warned that some flakiness might occur but this was next level flake city. I had to stop. I also do not care about the benefits of retinol, so letâs never speak of it again.
The chain Toasties in the city? What garbage! Never again. How do you mess up lunch?
I canât stop texting this image to people (below).
I was looking for a new (not drugstore) mascara and I found a fantastic one - the Glossier Lash Slick. In love with the wand, it catches every single little hair.
I tried the Trader Joeâs strawberry gluten free muffins and they were okay, but nothing can top their GF cinnamon coffee cake ones.
I was invited to see Mel Robbins at The Beacon (with a very lovely new friend) and Iâve got to be honest. This woman is⌠just not for me. Iâm happy that people seem to get something out of what she says, but I just canât. Wellness canât be bought and I will die on that hill.
Marla came for a visit and it was a blast. She stayed at The New Yorker hotel (which was old, wonderful and perfect), we did a million things in 48 hours and ate at Modern Bread & Bagel approx. twenty times. It was perfect.
Was so, so pleased that she agreed with me about how incredible the tart frozen yogurt is at Madison Fare.
Madison Fare frozen yogurt with raspberry
She also treated us to a Broadway show (this woman cannot be stopped in her generosity), so we saw Real Women Have Curves. And it was good!
I poached some salmon in a coconut cream sauce and it didnât come out that great, so I think Iâll just stick to baked salmon.
I think Iâm suffering from Pinterest-aesthetic-brain-overload because I was on such a mission (for some reason?) to find a perfect black cardigan to layer with some outfits I have - and I found one at Uniqlo. But once I tried it on I realized how very basic-white-woman it is and put it back. It can be very hard to fight these things that the internet tells me that Iâm supposed to have. (I did buy this great baseball t-shirt, though.)
I went to Edithâs for the tahini iced coffee and it was very good. I also tried a bite of their chicken caesar and it was nothing special. Main reason to go here is definitely the coffee.
Edithâs tahini iced coffee in the West Village, NYC

I got a lash lift and itâs only week one, but I can see the appeal of getting them done. Iâve been using Nulastin for a few months and Iâve been seeing length, but theyâre not very curly so I guess weâll see if this makes a longterm difference or not.
We went to visit the town where the original Friday the 13th was filmed (itâs just under two hours from NYC) and it was so much fun. Iâll do a full post on it here soon. We also went to a wedding in the Poconos and it was such a great weekend.
Some things I watched:
Final Destination Bloodlines - not as awful as I expected! The beginning scene was the most memorable/best part.
And Just Like That (newest season) - okay, this was the craziest part of the first episode:
âŚwhat the hell? Were we all supposed to think that is a normal thing to say? Infact this insane sentence is making me want to do a deep dive on ALL of the wildly dumb things these women have said over decades and we all have just eaten it right up and accepted as normal! Madness.
Some things Iâm looking forward to this month: I really want to go to Modern Bread & Bread for their night menu, I want to make this chicken Diane recipe at home, I think Iâm going to start doing my Summer Saturday posts again starting this week (the season starts when I says it does) and I might have to pre-order the Jaws popcorn bucket (below).
You can read last monthâs roundup over here.
Just a reminder that you should take way more photos of your friends everywhere
The Best White Lotus Tweets <spoilers>
The Best of January & February 2025
The beginning of this year has been rough to say the least. Thereâs no way to know when things might get easier, but in the meantime - hereâs what went down these past two months.
The best tweets of January can be found here and the best tweets of February can be found here.
Very in love with this Patcha Soap Co. salt scrub I got from Healthy Planet. A salt scrub is forever a good gift, especially the Sabon ones.
I ate at the gluten-free place Gud Daae on Lakeshore and it was so good.

Iâve come to the newish conclusion that Sephora has nothing for me. Every single time I enter that store, I feel an alarming amount of rage. Stop telling women what they need.
Andrew Dismukes has been so good on SNL lately. Iâm not sure how I didnât notice this sooner.
I took my niece Maya to see Come From Away and it was even better than the New York production (maybe because the accents were better?).
Come From Away in Toronto, ON
I bought (and had tailored) these Gap jeans and I also bought a pair of tan loafers. Really testing out a new aesthetic here.
I finally tried out the Mel Brooks idea of slicing a bagel into three parts instead of two and I feel enlightened.
Mel Brooks is a genius mainly because of this idea
I took the kids to a maple syrup farm (Elliot Tree Farm) because it should be law that every Canadian child must see how sap is made at some point. Of course their gift shop had some gems (below).
The most Canadian candle
Incredible
I cancelled my Costco membership because Iâm trying to support less American companies, so I found Bulk Mart (which is Canadian) and itâs great so far.
Some things I watched:
The Substance - such a great movie. The sounds/audio was brutal to hear at times, but all in all one of the best movies of last year for sure.
Babygirl - loved it.
Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action (documentary) - pretty despicable, hard to watch.
Child Star (documentary) - it was good, but there was too much of a focus on Demi Lovato (which makes sense because she made it) but I was expecting less of her.
Enlightened - I hated Laura Dernâs character so much that it made it hard to watch.
The Apprentice (movie) - meh. But Jeremy Strong was fantastic.
The Resort - the first half of the series was good, but then it took a turn.
Mommy Meanest - I love watching a bad Lifetime TV movie maybe once a year.
Little Women (the 90s one) - how have I never seen this before? Absolutely loved it.
Big Little Lies - I was expecting more since the cast is so wild, but it kind of sucked. I really donât think Laura Dern is a good actress and the writing was so bad.
Succession (rewatch) - Logan is so much funnier upon second viewing, I didnât notice that before.
Lost (rewatch) - still great. Still canât really explain the ending.
The Last Showgirl - I do like Pamela Anderson but wow is she a bad actress. Also Jamie Lee Curtis overacts in every single thing she does these days and Bautista was so hollow. The script was awful, but since it had a nepo director itâs not surprising that it wasnât good. I did like that I could tell it was shot at the Rio in Vegas but otherwise, hard pass.
Heart Eyes - love Devon Sawa, but this was nothing special. I do love a themed horror movie always, though.
The White Lotus - god, this season sucks so far. Itâs just so slow, I canât stand it.
It would be insane if I didnât mention it here, but Baby Dog passed away in January and everything collapsed around me. It happened quickly, but I was with her until the end and itâs hard to speak about it at all even now. Every time it snows it makes me think of her so of course there was record snowfall this year. It still doesnât feel real, so Iâm just trying to take it day by day.

Early autumn sunsets >>
Early autumn sunsets >>
Welcome to the absolute best time of year.
The best tweets of the month can be found over here.
I wrote about going to Cooperstown, New York.
I compiled my favourite summer photos.
I recapped how my summer list went.
I made an autumn list of things Iâd like to do.
The AirTrain at JFK was half price for the entire summer! Am I the only one who finds that crazy? In a city where everything costs more with each passing day. Blown away by that. Itâs back to the ridiculous/normal pricing now, but still.
I went to my first dog swim event (!) and it was absolutely heaven on earth. At the end of summer, public pools open up their pools on the last swim day of the season to let dogs go swimming and itâs as great as it sounds. (Baby Dog is too delicate to partake, but we watched from a safe distance.)
Forever a lover of autumn mums. And $9 for 9â ones at Home Depot? Get the hell out of here with that pricing. Amazing.
Autumn mums
Iâve been using GrandeLASH for almost a month now and Iâm not really noticing that much of a difference, so if this doesnât work Iâll give Revitalash a try and if that doesnât work? I think I can officially say goodbye to lash serums at last. Itâs too exhausting. I canât care about tiny little pieces of hair for the rest of my life.
I will never shut up about how incredible this foot peel is from Target. I only need to use it twice a year and it gives you BABY SOFT feet.
Went to Dyments Farm in Dundas to try their burger and whoa. Definitely worth the drive.
Burger at Dyments Farm in Dundas, ON
In love with everything at Aerie right now, theyâre reminding me of early Aritzia pieces (at the old Aritzia prices) and I should really shut up about it before it becomes like current Aritzia and therefore is way too expensive.
Came across a new way to do beach waves with a straightener and it totally works.
Are you aware that Staples recycles all old electronics? I brought in some old printers and itâs way easier than taking it to a dump.
Is The Ordinary a con? I have never had a positive experience with any of their products. Even the name makes me think theyâre just messing with us?
Tried and absolutely loved the gluten-free Costco frozen pizza. Makes no sense.
The smash burgers at Oklahoma Burgers in Mississauga are decadent as hell.
Oklahoma Burgers in Mississauga, ON
Went to the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show for the first time in years and got an insanely nice coat. I only want fun coats for the rest of my life. Also got a mini glass bottle of perfume from the 40s to stay in my purse that was $5.
Perfumes at the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show
In love with this Simons belt.
I made these turkey meatballs from the LCBO magazine Food & Drink and they were pretty disappointing. Must remember to not trust all their recipes.
The dark chocolate pistachios from Trader Joeâs are unholy. Could eat bags and bags of them.
Ridiculously in love with the Whole Foods pumpkin bites. A perfect autumn bite.
Pumpkin bites at Whole Foods
Some things I watched:
The Perfect Couple: Okay, I could argue for an hour about how bad this was. Yes, a whodunit is fun. But thatâs where the fun ended. It was so badly written and terribly shot. God, anything can be made these days.
The Trini episode of Atlanta: what a great episode. Makes me want to watch the rest of the show.
Only Murders in the Building: Really liking this season. The Perfect Strangers moments? Wonderful. I kind of need Richard Kind and Martin Short in a scene together soon though (Clifford reunion!).
English Teacher: best new show Iâve seen in SUCH a long time. I love the kid Jeff. The music choices are so good. So many good lines, I canât even quote them all.
Mamma Mia: Iâd never seen it, so we put it on and yikes. I truly hate singing in (most) movies. Fast-forwarded all the songs. Other than that, not a terrible movie.
Emily in Paris: this tweet really sums up the show.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts: Only my ten year old nephew could get me to watch something like this. It wasnât terrible! Weird to hear Pete Davidson in it, but definitely not the worst thing Iâve ever seen.
Hustlers: Not good. But Mister Bruce was the best part.
Rewatched: The Hand That Rocks The Cradle, Dangerous Minds, Barbarian, Old. All still great.
Iâm watching tons of Twilight Zones episodes each night and this quote (below) from the episode Passage on the Lady Anne just swallowed me up.
âLove has its own particular point of view. It sees everything larger than life. Nothing is too ornate, too fanciful, too dramatic. Love demands the theatrical, and then transfigures it. It turns the grotesque into the lovely, as a child does. With it, we can see what we wish to see in other people. Without it, we canât see anything at all. We can search forever, and never find.â
Some things Iâm looking forward to this month: finishing up my Halloween costume, cooking everything for Thanksgiving, making the leftover sandwich and I really want to see the movie Hush.
Will forever love sunflowers at night

I might have to stop complaining about how Iâm not a summer person because this past month was such a memorable one. Hereâs what went down last month!
Nathan made Varietyâs 10 Comics To Watch list this year!
I continued my Summer Saturdays series because apparently Iâm obsessed with summer?
The best tweets of the month can be found over here. I also made a list of my favourite summer tweets.
I wrote about my favourite caesar salad dressing recipe in honour of its 100th birthday.
I tried the soft serve from Seed + Mill and it was unbelievably good. Top three in NYC, hands down.
Soft serve from Seed + Mill, Chelsea Market
I finally got to go lane swimming in Mississauga and it was all that Iâd hoped it would be and so much more. Fuck Eric Adams for cancelling the lap swims in NYC for yet another summer.
The watermelon sangria at Bite is summer in a glass.
I finally visited the food hall at Queensboro Plaza and the options looked pretty good! The chicken caesar wrap at Bobwhite Counter was decent, but itâll always amaze me when places donât make their own croutons. Itâs one tiny little step that makes or breaks it.
Chicken caesar wrap at Bobwhite Counter
The coronation chicken salad at Nomad Sandwiches is too good. Cold, curried chicken is not on enough menus in this city.
I just saw an ad for this, but Arbyâs has a burger now?? Am I the only one this offends?? Their whole thing is that they DONâT do burgers?? That roast beef and cheddar is better than any fast food burger, what the hell is going on? I can handle a lot of things (really I can), but this crosses a line.
A reel told me to squeeze lemon on top of watermelon, so I did and it was fantastic.
I went to Canada for a little bit since the kids are off for summer break and I think Iâm onto something here: yardwork is fun when itâs not your own house.
Airport pickup!
I used a screwdriver to do this and Iâm kinda proud of that fact?
One of my most beloved hobbies? Before/after photoshoots, apparently.
Itâs an illness, really
Went to Blue Mountain on a small trip with my family and it was perfect. We swam so much (once in the rain, and I hope everyone swims in the rain at least once in their life) and we also rode the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster (something thatâs been on my list for years), which was so much fun. I also wonât disclose how many times I went to the frozen yogurt place Menchies.

On the drive back from Blue Mountain, we found a farmerâs market-type store in hopes of finding some sponge toffee and dreams can come true.
Worth every penny
Ate at Lucia in Toronto and it wasnât anything special, which was a bit disappointing but the company was everything I wanted so that made up for it.
Marla w/ the best gifts
Made these ricotta meatballs that turned out great, if not a bit too soft.
We went to Ribfest and I tried my first blooming onion. It was absolutely unreal. How did it take me this long to try one. Also got an oxtail poutine and (finally) the tri-colour popsicle Iâve been waiting on since last summer.
There are cathedrals everywhere for those with eyes to see
Oxtail poutine, I love this country
I wanted this so badly, I didnât even care how bad my nails looked
The passport office in Mississauga is such a nightmare, it literally took four hours to get renewed (and thatâs only because I showed up two hours before it even opened).
Tried this soft foot reel I saw (below) and it worked pretty well! I think you have to do it multiple times a week to really see longterm results, though.
Went to Spirit Tree Estate Cidery again with my niece Tianna and it remains great. Their daily soup is the main attraction here (we got the seafood chowder).
Tianna at the cidery
We also went to Activate again and I think I enjoyed it even more than last time. Obsessed with the hoops room. Makes me wish I had a basketball net.
Activate in Mississauga, ON
Went to the Asian Night Market in Mississauga with Harmeet and we got the cold noodles, which were spicy/great. Afterward we went to the Mexican restaurant in the food hall section of Square One (La Carnita) and had such a terrible experience. The short ribs we ordered were awful and our waiter absolutely hated us. And then we went next door to Farzi Cafe, where the drinks were fine but insanely overpriced. What the hell is going on at Square One?
I finally got Baby Dog in a kiddie pool and she could actually doggy paddle. It was the cutest thing anyone has ever seen.
I just learned about the ready-made sandwiches at Lazar Bakery in Mississauga and my lunches will never be the same again.
The foam soaps are the main reason I go to Bath & Body Works, but their bar soaps last such a long time. If you live in the United States then you should definitely get their app - they give you at least one free item every few weeks.
Baskin-Robbins rainbow sherbert continues to solve all.

I know itâs early, but the pumpkin pie M&Ms are outrageously good.

Some things I watched:
The Bear (season three): Cons first. Okay, I hated the first episode but itâs the weakest one of the whole season. Some of the dialogue is so badly written, itâs hard to watch sometimes. Why the hell was John Cena in it? He isnât a good actor, letâs cut the shit. Now pros. Ebon is flawless. The Napkins episode was so well written. Jon Bernthal is such a great actor. The Al-Anon support group scene was so good. My jaw dropped at Josh Hartnett making an appearance, Iâll continue to love his renaissance. And I know Iâve complained about the overacting of Jamie Lee Curtis from last season, but I thought the birth episode was the best one of the entire season. That whole episode just captured mothers and daughters so well and how we see that our mothers fail us so much because our expectations of them are too insanely high so when they fall flat of those expectations, how crushing it can be to realize that theyâre just human. That episode alone is why Iâll keep watching the show. I do think that a lot can be done towards the development of characters so that we have the time to care about them in the ways that the writers want us to, but there are these pocket episodes that are just so alarmingly true and good. Itâs a fantastic show with absolute faults, but the reviews of this season were way too harsh.
All of the Naked Gun movies (rewatch): Okay these movies really hold up well. It was too much fun to watch them with the kids who actually really laughed and enjoyed them too. Romeo even referenced one scene weeks later to laugh about it, my heart swelled to say the least.
Blowout: It started out interesting and then took a sharp turn, hard pass.
Sabrina (rewatch): I was on a Harrison Ford kick and wouldâve settled for anything, so this was nice to see again.
Twisters (theatres): I really wanted to hate it, but it was a party.
Creep (rewatch): Still great!
Mulan (live action): Rome insisted on us watching this and it wasnât bad! Iâm pretty anti-live-action, but this was surprisingly good.
I Know What You Did Last Summer (rewatch): Love a summer horror movie. There needs to be more seasonal horror movies.
The Craft (rewatch): I always forget how much I hate the bug stuff at the end, but itâs still a solid 90s movie.
Some things Iâm looking forward to this month: my dear friend Marla is coming to visit (!), cannot wait to see Trap next week, Iâm keeping my eye out for any corn based seasonal dishes at the restaurants I love and I canât wait to start preparations on this yearâs costumeâŚ

I wrote my spring list of things that Iâd love to do this season.
I served on a jury and it was an awful experience. Iâm begging you to never do it. It wasnât even a murder case and it was still horrible to be apart of.
Am I nervous about The Body Shop closing a TON of stores? Yes, yes I am.
Iâll never be above a new Trader Joeâs candle scent.

My sister-in-law made one of the greatest desserts I think Iâve ever tried: lemon sorbet blended with mascarpone. It sounds so simple, but I promise you the flavour was mind-blowingly good. A perfect summer dessert, too.
I think I found the best lip oil that isnât expensive or sticky: Colourpopâs Lux Lip Oil in Dew Drop Clear.
My sweet dear friend Jenn sent me Seeâs Candies chocolates for my birthday and good god were they incredible.

I made a Thai green curry for the first time and it was fine, but I think this is something that Iâm only gonna order out from now on. It just didnât taste the same when I made it at home. (It couldâve been because the coriander seeds I ground up had expired last year? Would that have made a giant difference in taste?)
One of my all-time favourite scenes in a movie:

Some things I watched:
Baywatch (season 1): Okay, the pilot of Baywatch is one of the best pilots Iâve ever seen. Honestly rivals the Lost premiere. Makes zero sense. Kind of a great show?
Ready or Not (the Canadian show): I love that you can find most of these episodes on YouTube.
Some things Iâm looking forward to this month: I have to try the special ramp & cacio e pepe dumplings at Mimi Chengâs, Nathanâs going to be on The Tonight Show for the third time on April 12th (!), I really want to go see the blooming cherry blossoms in Central Park and I canât wait to see Rachel McAdams in Mary Jane on Broadway (Nathanâs birthday gift to me!).
If youâve got any interest in reading last monthâs roundup, you can read what went on in February over here.
