The Cost of Paying Attention
“Silence is now offered as a luxury good.”
I love everything about this New York Times piece I recently read entitled "The Cost of Paying Attention." So much so that I've already put the writer's book (“The World Beyond Your Head: On Becoming an Individual in an Age of Distraction”) on hold. Expect a review on that coming soon.
Gay Marriage Legalized
Love it.

Fan Catches Baseball While Holding Baby
Why in the hell were people not mad about this guy catching this ball when it so clearly could've been caught by that player? People cheer on this idiot while the sweet Steve Bartman suffered for years?! Go to hell, anyone-who-clapped-for-this-guy.
The Top 25 Most Viewed Blog Posts
I've maintained this blog for two and a half years now (yikes) and it's kind of a small miracle that it's somehow gone on this long. There have been so many posts in that time that I thought it might be all right to share some of the top viewed posts (thank you Google Analytics) that I've written so far. I don't expect anyone to follow this site along so closely that they've read everything, so hopefully there's a few on this list that are new to you.
Also, it's a huge compliment that the most popular posts have been the meatier/wordier ones - and for that I thank everyone who's ever clicked on one damn thing on this site. This blog is such a fun thing to do and I'll never tire from having an opinion on everything. Here are the top 25 most viewed posts (thus far).

Person To Follow - Kelly Oxford
If you're on Twitter and you're not following Kelly Oxford already, who the hell are you following? She IS Twitter, as far as I'm concerned.
And considering how great her first book was, I cannot wait for the second one she's working on at the moment.
